Drug Abatement Response Team (DART) - Combats illegal drugs in Jacksonville by focusing on the property where drug activity flourishes. Works with landlords/property owners to develop strategies and marshal resources to reduce drug activity
Jax Economic Development Commission (JEDC) - Oversees all economic development programs for Duval County's consolidated government and offers a streamlined approach and a team of professionals to offer one-stop service to identify infrastructure needs, customize assistance packages and guide businesses through the permitting process

Northwest Jax Economic Development - The Better Jacksonville Plan has designated $25 million specifically for the area. Businesses that meet the criteria for the following programs may be eligible for assistance: Business Infrastructure Grant or Loan (BIG), Small Business Initiative, Facade Program, Small Business Corridor Loan Program.

Jax Housing Authority - Disseminates information about the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program; provides training to Property Owners and Property Management Agencies; provides an understanding of the protocol involved with the Section 8 Program as prescribed by the U.S. HUD Department, lists known participating properties throughout the Jax community, and provides protocol for bidding on / purchasing HUD housing.
Jax Housing Commission - Finance Authority - Individuals, developers, and not-for-profit organizations may apply to use the funds for land acquisition and for new construction and renovation of both single family and multifamily housing
Municipal Code Enforcement Board - Hears and decides cases referred by a city official (inspector, code enforcement officer) when a property violation continues beyond the time specified by the city official for correction.

Probate Department - Manages cases involving the distribution of estates of deceased persons and the administration of guardianships
Property Safety Division - Enforces the Property Safety and Maintenance Code, which covers Housing Safety, Property Maintenance, Nuisance and Overgrown Lots, Unsafe Structures and Junk and Abandoned Vehicles
Public Works Real Estate - Acquires, appraises, manages, disposes and inventories property owned by the city government. View surplus parcels for sale, and apply for right of way or easement closure.
