They are often presented by local professionals, such as lawyers, accountants, appraisers, home inspectors, etc, and focus on various real estate and business building topics for the more advanced
investor.
The Master Series class is held the third Monday of every month at 7:00pm at the JaxREIA Office, located at 103 Century 21 Drive. Click here for map.
These classes are open and free to members-only.

STAGING PROPERTIES TO SELL
WITH DENISE BALTHIS OF
DESIGN TO SELL
SEPTEMBER MASTER SERIES
By Doug Johnston
You’ve bought the house, rehabbed it and now it is time to sell it. The house is empty, painted in neutral colors and looks like every other empty house that your potential buyers have seen. You need to be able to get the buyers’ attention, make them feel comfortable and most important make them want to make it there’s.
In a vacant house, it may mean accentuating the focal points of a room. In a house that is currently being lived in, it could be removing or de-cluttering the home to open it up. That could mean packing up most of your treasures to get ready to move, but isn’t that your goal??
I listened to Denise at a Home Buyer’s Expo earlier this year and enjoyed her presentation. She is an experienced real estate investor and has rehabbed her own properties. This hands-on investing gives her more insight as to our needs to get the most bangs for the buck and turn a profit. She also has ideas on how to use staging to fill your empty rentals for top dollar. In the rental business, cash flow is KING and anything we can do to increase it is beneficial to our financial health.
